I had a pleasant stay at Flying Dog Hostel. the location was great, just a short walk from the plaza. the courtyard and living room were cute and cozy. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the good wifi. the staff was cool and accommodating, allowing us to have breakfast early when we had to leave early the next day. They also stored our bags for free while we did a trek in the Colca Canyon. the room was spacious and I had enough room to move around. My favorite part was the friendly cat and dog, although the cat seemed a little aloof.

It was a beautiful hostel with a good location and friendly staff. Cons: Nothing, no complaints at all.

The noise from the busy road outside was quite disruptive at night, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The cleanliness of the bedding was questionable, as the blankets did not appear to be clean and despite requesting a change, it was not done.

We stayed at this hostel with our children and loved the range of facilities and activities available for them. the hostel had a nice terrace and common rooms where our kids could meet and interact with other travelers. the staff at the reception were amazing, always patient and helpful. They organized tours for us and were available 24/7. Thank you for making our stay perfect!

Staff kind, door always locked for security. Clean, comfy double room with private bathroom upstairs. Beautiful aesthetic, suited location. Not social, but had free events. Can make tour reservations, responsive on WhatsApp. Many travelers doing Colca Canyon tour.

I recently stayed at Flying Dog Hostel for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The hostel offers great facilities for relaxation and socializing. The staff were friendly and the place was always clean. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the main plaza. I particularly enjoyed the addition of papaya juice at breakfast. The hostel also has adorable pets, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. a great place to stay in Arequipa.

noisy dorm due to street noise

Great location, close to downtown and surrounded by various services. the courtyard and living room area were charming and cozy. - the breakfast provided was plentiful and had a good variety of options.

The noise level at night was quite high, especially if your room faced the street. Some rooms lacked proper lighting in the bathrooms, making it difficult to shower.

We had a great time at Flying Dog Arequipa! The staff was helpful and bilingual, and the hostel was in a prime location near clubs. We enjoyed the free salsa lessons and the included breakfast. The rooms were comfy and clean. we highly recommend this hostel.
